Many UK SMEs are struggling with the complex tax legislations, that’s according to a recent survey by Hiscox of over 1,000 SMEs. The findings showed that 27 per cent are struggling to deal with tax, finance and accounting, with 76 percent of that group being in the IT and technology sectors.
The findings show that business leaders are calling for more guidance when it comes to tax reliefs and incentives, as well as more support to efficiently manage their tax, especially if they are looking to expand their businesses abroad.
