A reminder that today, 31 January, is the deadline for individuals and partnerships who need to submit their tax returns for the 2017-2018 tax year.
In total, there are more than 3.5 million customers who will need to do so before the deadline. HMRC is reminding customers that if their tax return is late, they will receive a £100 penalty – even if they do not owe any tax.
